For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n The second round of player tryouts for the Seattle Impact FC and dance auditions for the Ladies with Impact shattered expectations, team officials said.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n More than 50 players participated last weekend at the ShoWare Center. The hopefuls participated in six-on-six scrimmages that varied in length.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n In addition to the tryouts, signed players Gordy Gurson, Jeff Bader, Francisco Cisneros and Dion Earl participated in the mini-games.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Impact FC will play all 10 home games at the ShoWare Center, beginning with a Nov. 8 date with the 14-time indoor champion San Diego Sockers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Seattle is the newest member of the 23-team Major Arena Soccer League (MASL), the indoor game’s top-tier division throughout North America. Seattle officially joined the MASL on July 8, with Earl, Bellevue native and former Sounders and SeaDogs player as owner and CEO.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the dance auditions for the Ladies with Impact saw more than 20 dancers, with 11 being selected to the team.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
