A 42-year-old woman claiming to be God reportedly kicked another woman and left a trail of broken bowls and overturned tables and chairs during an incident at about 1:45 p.m. Oct. 2 at a shopping mall in the 18200 block of East Valley Highway.<\/p>\n
Kent Police arrested the woman for investigation of fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief after she threw and broke items at a bank and a couple of stores and then kicked a woman, according to the police report.<\/p>\n
Officers responded to a 911 call from the bank about the woman who told bank employees, “You have to leave, I am God.”<\/p>\n
Before the woman left the bank, she kicked over a table that held cookies and coffee and threw a plastic chair against a window.<\/p>\n
Earlier in the day, the woman had reportedly taken off her rings and threw them while sitting in a restaurant at the mall. She then started to walk around the mall talking about God. She entered a store and broke about 50 bowls on display, valued at about $3.99 each.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived inside the mall, the woman saw them, pointed toward the roof and yelled repeatedly that she was No. 1.<\/p>\n
An officer started to place the woman in handcuffs, but the woman kicked the mall’s property manager in the arm before the handcuffs were secured. Officers then secured the handcuffs on the woman and took her into custody.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Drugs<\/p>\n
When an officer saw a woman leaning in the driver’s door of a car at about 9 p.m. Sept. 30 in a parking lot in the 25200 block of Pacific Highway South, he became suspicious because the area is known for prostitution activity.<\/p>\n
When the officer pulled up behind the vehicle, the woman started to walk away and the the driver, a man, began to drive away. But the woman and the driver each stopped after the officer turned on the patrol car’s siren and overhead lights, according to the police report.<\/p>\n
Officers arrested the man for investigation of possession of marijuana and the woman for investigation of prostitution loitering.<\/p>\n
The man told police he just wanted the woman’s phone number. Officers reported they smelled marijuana inside the car and spotted what looked like a small piece of marijuana in the driver’s side door.<\/p>\n
Police searched the driver found he had four plastic baggies in his pants pocket. The contents of those bags later tested positive for marijuana.<\/p>\n
The woman told officers she was working that night as a prostitute but had done nothing with the driver of the car.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Assault<\/p>\n
Police arrested a woman for investigation of fourth-degree assault after she reportedly grabbed her boyfriend around the throat the evening of Oct. 3 at a restaurant parking lot in the 25600 block of 102nd Place Southeast.<\/p>\n
The woman told officers she saw her boyfriend flirting with another woman inside a restaurant and became because he had should have been back home earlier that evening, according to the police report. The woman called the boyfriend’s cell phone to locate him at the restaurant. The woman then drove to the restaurant.<\/p>\n
The couple argued as they walked out of the business. The woman then reportedly grabbed the boyfriend around the throat next to a car in the parking lot.<\/p>\n
The couple then left together in the woman’s car to return to their Federal Way home. Federal Way Police pulled over the couple after a 911 call about a couple fighting in a car. Federal Way Police turned over custody of the woman to the Kent Police.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
False statement<\/p>\n
Police arrested a man for investigation of giving a false statement after he reportedly gave a false name to officers during an incident at 10:25 p.m. in the 800 block of First Avenue North.<\/p>\n
A 911 caller reported that five males were trying the handles of car doors as they walked down First Avenue, according to the police report.<\/p>\n
Officers found the men near the 900 block of Central Avenue North. Four of the men had identification and were let go. One man had no identification and initially gave police a false name. The man reportedly had a warrant for urinating and spitting on Metro bus transit property.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
