{"id":9585,"date":"2008-05-22T18:05:47","date_gmt":"2008-05-23T01:05:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/high-river-levels-prompt-warning-by-state\/"},"modified":"2016-10-21T17:00:27","modified_gmt":"2016-10-22T00:00:27","slug":"high-river-levels-prompt-warning-by-state","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/high-river-levels-prompt-warning-by-state\/","title":{"rendered":"High river levels prompt warning by state"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With river waters running high and fast because of recent warmer temperatures and fast snow melt, the Washington State Parks Boating Program is warning recreationists to stay out of rivers altogether.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe rivers are swollen right now and near flood stage,\u201d said Mark Kenny, boating law enforcement coordinator for State Parks. \u201cThey\u2019re swift, cold and unforgiving. ..
