\u2022 Accomplishment: Sewell won her second straight district title, carding a two-day total of 141 (69-72), which proved to be eight strokes better than second-place finisher Rui Li of Kentwood.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Favorite class: U.S. History.<\/p>\n

\u2022 If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Jim Carrey and we would have Italian Food.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Favorite movie: Terminator 2. Most recent book read\/author: \u201cKane and Abel\u201d by Jeffrey Archer.<\/p>\n

\u2022 What\u2019s on your iPod?: \u201cWelcome to the Jungle\u201d by Guns N\u2019 Roses.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Also noted: Sewell, a three-time state placer, will play golf on scholarship next year at Oregon State University.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

KENT HAGEN, Kentwood<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2022 Grade: Senior.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Sport: Golf.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Accomplishment: Hagen carded a two-day total of 145 during last week\u2019s district tournament at Bremerton\u2019s Gold Mountain Golf Course, a score that proved to be good enough for second-place. Hagen\u2019s performance helped the Conquerors win their third straight district crown.<\/p>\n

Favorite class: Sports Medicine.<\/p>\n

\u2022 If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (professional golfer) Fred Couples and Edgar Martinez. I would take them out to Chipotle Grill at Kent Station.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Favorite movie: Iron Man.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Most recent book read\/author: \u201cThe things they carried,\u201d by Tim O\u2019Brien. What\u2019s on your iPod?: \u201cI got a feeling,\u201d by Black-Eyed Peas.<\/p>\n

GABBY LINDBLAD, Kennedy<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2022 Grade: Sophomore.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Sport: Swimming.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Accomplishment: Lindblad, a Kent resident, has blossomed into one of the state\u2019s elite swimmers. Entering this week, she already had garnered \u201cIronwoman\u201d status as she has qualified for state in every individual event.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Favorite class: Math.<\/p>\n

\u2022 If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (Kentlake swimmer) Emily Tanasse, my best friend! We would eat Snickers, ice cream, animal crackers, sparkling lemonade and fries.<\/p>\n

CHERENE O\u2019HARA, K-M<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2022 Sport: Volleyball.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Accomplishment: O\u2019Hara helped the Royals knock off perennial power Kentwood in four games, racking up a match-high 11 kills to go along with six blocks.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Favorite class: English.<\/p>\n

\u2022 If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (professional beach volleyball player) Misty May and I would serve grilled chicken burgers, Caesar salad and lemonade.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Favorite movie: Wall-e. Most recent book read\/author: \u201cInkdeath,\u201d by Carolina Funke.<\/p>\n

MAX MANTHOU, Kentwood<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2022 Grade: Senior.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Sport: Tennis.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Accomplishment: Manthou, a three-time state champion, continued to roll through opponents during last week\u2019s league tournament. The KW standout one each set of every match he played, culminating with a championship victory over Kentridge\u2019s Matt Overland. It\u2019s Manthou\u2019s fourth league title.<\/p>\n

Favorite class: AP Literature. If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (comedian) Chris Rock and (NBA star and Seattle native) Nate Robinson and serve Ezell\u2019s fried chicken and pork fried rice.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Favorite movie: Gran Torino.<\/p>\n
