With the Olympic games officially concluded, Kent4Health, a community health initiative, is celebrating its top walk, run, roll\/ride winners. More than 260 participants went an extra 900 miles over our goal to Beijing, China for a first successful healthy community activity.<\/p>\n

The gold medal winners are:<\/p>\n

Walk Category: Brenda Hanson<\/p>\n

Run category: John Rankin<\/p>\n

RIDE\/ROLL category: Steve Murray<\/p>\n

The rest of the Kent4Health medal winners will join organizers 7 p.m. at the September 16 City Council meeting, to be presented with gold, silver or bronze medals and prizes.<\/p>\n

Kent4Health is a citizen-driven program designed to encourage all residents to participate in fun, healthy activities and to share opportunities for personal wellness in the community.<\/p>\n
