The 44th annual Kent Cornucopia Days \u2013\u00a0South King County\u2019s oldest and largest festival \u2013\u00a0comes alive this weekend with a full slate of entertainment and activities throughout the community.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The free, four-day celebration takes on special meaning this summer as Kent celebrates its 125th year since becoming a city in 1890. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme, From Farming to Flying \u2013 125 Years of Innovation, pays tribute to Kent, past and present. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The city, now 124,000 strong, has come far from its agricultural roots to become an aerospace and high-tech manufacturing hub.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Kent Lions, a nonprofit organization, produces the festival each year.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
