King County Parks will conduct surveys of park users from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 along the Soos Creek Trail in Kent.

As part of its commitment to improving visitor experience, King County Parks is looking for opinions about what’s great about King County’s parks, trails, and natural areas and what’s needed in order to make them even better, according to a King County Parks media release.

“We want to hear directly from parks and trails users about their experiences at King County Parks’ facilities so that we can help plan and prioritize for the future,” said King County Parks Director Kevin Brown. “Measuring customer satisfaction is consistent with King County’s strategic plan and provides us with important feedback.”

The survey work is being completed by Site Story, a local consulting practice specializing in community outreach, sustainability, and cultural and public open space planning. The work is funded in part by a grant from the National Center for Civic Innovation.
