It sends a very strong measure that we are willing to step up and help our departments and employees and achieve what we would like to see.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The new hire will report to Marty Fisher, city human resources director.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u201cI think the efficiencies will outweigh the cost,\u201d Fisher said in a report to the Operations Committee. \u201cThey will not do all the work but be the point person for training for each department to improve their processes.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Fisher said city staff research about pay for the job showed Bellevue is the only other local city with a similar position. Bellevue pays $70,000 to $97,000 for the job.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
