{"id":8773,"date":"2010-02-10T12:56:46","date_gmt":"2010-02-10T20:56:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/toddler-hurt-in-fall-from-second-story-window-at-kent-home\/"},"modified":"2016-10-22T00:40:30","modified_gmt":"2016-10-22T07:40:30","slug":"toddler-hurt-in-fall-from-second-story-window-at-kent-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/toddler-hurt-in-fall-from-second-story-window-at-kent-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Toddler hurt in fall from second-story window at Kent home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A toddler remained in serious condition Wednesday evening at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after falling Wednesday morning from a second-story window at a Kent home in the 11700 block of Southeast 268th Street on the East Hill.<\/p>\n<p>The boy was airlifted by helicopter to Harborview, where he remained in serious condition in the intensive care unit, said a hospital spokeswoman Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The boy, whose age was not released, was conscious and crying during treatment by paramedics, according to a Kent Fire Department media release. One paramedic described the boy as in serious but stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>The boy had been taken back inside the home after the fall when Kent firefighters arrived at the house at about 10:50 a.m. Wednesday.
