The Spokane Chiefs<\/a> shut out the Seattle Thunderbirds<\/a> 3-0 Sunday night at the ShoWare Center.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Seattle (20-37-1-1) plays their next two games at home. First up, the T-Birds face the Everett Silvertips on Saturday, February 25, at 6:05 p.m. Seattle then plays the Tri-City Americans on Sunday, February 26, at 5:05 p.m. The T-Birds are currently tied for seventh place in the Western Conference playoff standings with the Victoria Royals. Victoria faces the Western Conference leading Kamloops Blazers on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Dominik Uher was the first to score for the Chiefs at 10:05 of the first period. Tanner Mort and Marek Kalus were credited with the assists.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Spokane (32-20-4-3) led Seattle 17-4 in shots on goal after the first period.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Collin Valcourt scored for Spokane at 13:35 of the second. Corbin Baldwin and Connor Chartier had the assists.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Spokane led Seattle 28-11 in shots after two periods.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Liam Stewart scored an unassisted goal at 1:24 of the third period to give Spokane a 3-0 lead.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Chiefs finished with a 34-18 advantage in shots.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Calvin Pickard made 31 saves on 34 shots for Seattle bringing his record to 20-31-1-1.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Mac Engel stopped all 18 shots for Spokane increasing his record to 24-16-1-2.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
