Andrea Keikkala, executive director of the Kent Chamber of Commerce<\/a>, will be competing in Dancing With The Stars – Kent with other local stars including Mayor Suzette Cooke, City Council President Jamie Perry, Police Chief Ken Thomas and state Rep. Dave Upthegrove.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Green River Community College’s Cascade Room, 12401 SE 320th St., Auburn.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Keikkala has been training with her professional dance partner, Tanar Dial, at Aurthur Murray Dance Center in Federal Way.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

You can help her win and support the Kent Parks Foundation by coming to the event and voting.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Make a $100 donation to the Kent Parks Foundation and you will receive a VIP ticket to Dancing with the Stars-Kent.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Your donation will benefit the Kent Community Center’s music lab.\u00a0 This program gets kids inside and busy during the evening hours instead of on the streets. VIP tickets include dinner and wine, priority seating and the ability to vote in the People’s Choice trophy presentation. There are also $30 general admission tickets.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

You can only vote for people’s choice from the VIP seats, but they are right up front and include wine and dinner.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
