{"id":8581,"date":"2011-06-13T10:20:43","date_gmt":"2011-06-13T17:20:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/idaho-man-injured-in-i-5-accident-in-kent\/"},"modified":"2016-10-23T19:45:33","modified_gmt":"2016-10-24T02:45:33","slug":"idaho-man-injured-in-i-5-accident-in-kent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/idaho-man-injured-in-i-5-accident-in-kent\/","title":{"rendered":"Idaho man injured in I-5 accident in Kent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>A 58-year-old Idaho man suffered injuries in a three-vehicle accident at about 10:21 p.m. Saturday, June 11 in Kent along southbound Interstate 5, just south of State Route 516, also known as Kent-Des Moines Road.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The Idaho man was driving a rental truck and while attempting to stop on the right shoulder failed to see a disabled vehicle, according to a Washington State Patrol media release. The driver swerved to the right and struck a second vehicle, he then corrected to the left, crossed all southbound lanes, went over the concrete jersey barrier and rolled onto its side.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>A third vehicle struck debris in the roadway from the collision.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Paramedics transported the truck driver to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with undisclosed injuries.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>No one else was injured in the accident.
