Services for Charles “Pete” Curran, 81, of Kent are set for May 21 and May 22 at Holy Spirit Church in Kent, 327 Second Ave. S.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Curran, a longtime Kent resident and attorney<\/a>, died on May 11 when an Amtrak train struck him as he tried to walk across the tracks in downtown Kent.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n A vigil is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 21. A memorial mass is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 22, followed by a luncheon reception.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The Curran family encourages donations to Holy Spirit Church<\/a> and Kent Youth and Family Services<\/a> in lieu of flowers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
