Sounders FC fans can take an easy ride to the stadium Saturday by skipping traffic and taking Sound Transit’s special Sounder train service to the match against the Los Angeles Galaxy at noon.

The train from the south will leave Lakewood at 9:45 a.m. and leave Kent at 10:31 a.m. The return train will leave King Street Station 35 minutes after the match.

Special Sounder service is in addition to regular Link light rail service to and from CenturyLink Field. Link runs every 10 minutes on Sunday and serves 13 stations in downtown Seattle, SODO, Beacon Hill, Rainier Valley, Tukwila and SeaTac. Link’s Stadium and International District stations are a short walk from CenturyLink Field.
