The 71 points scored by the Slaughter came up just one point shy of the single-season high this season in the IFL.<\/p>\n<p>The Predators led 11-10 before the Slaughter turned the game into a rout.<\/p>\n<p>Chicago sacked Kent quarterback Charles McCullum for a safety. Running back Jarrett Payton, the son of former NFL great Walter Payton, scored on a 4-yard run. The Slaughter then recovered an onside kick and scored on a 44-yard pass.<\/p>\n<p>On Kent&#8217;s next possession, defensive back Chris Rodgers intercepted a McCullum pass and ran in for a touchdown.<\/p>\n<p>The Predators return to action with a home game against the Billings Outlaws at 7:30 p.m. April 30 at the ShoWare Center.<\/p>\n<p>Billings (6-1) leads the Pacific North Division and averages 57.7 points per game, including a high of 71.
