A two-time, Grammy-award winning artist, Bill Harley uses song and story to paint a vibrant picture of growing up, parenting and family life.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Harley will perform at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at the Crystal Mountain Hall at Kent Commons, 525 Fourth Ave. N. The appearance is part of the city of Kent Spotlight Series.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Poignant and hilarious, his work spans the generation gap, reminds us of our common humanity and challenges us to be our very best selves, according to a city of Kent media release. A prolific author and recording artist, Harley is also a regular commentator for NPR\u2019s \u201cAll Things Considered\u201d and featured on PBS.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Harley joined the National Storytelling Network’s Circle of Excellence in 2001 and tours nationwide as an author and performing artist. P<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
