The appearance is part of the city of Kent Spotlight Series.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Poignant and hilarious, his work spans the generation gap, reminds us of our common humanity and challenges us to be our very best selves, according to a city of Kent media release. A prolific author and recording artist, Harley is also a regular commentator for NPR\u2019s \u201cAll Things Considered\u201d and featured on PBS.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Harley joined the National Storytelling Network&#8217;s Circle of Excellence in 2001 and tours nationwide as an author and performing artist.
