Shawn Blake, a Covington carpenter, enjoys tinkering.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Blake was busy showing his creation, a handmade brass and steel clock he named the “Ben Franklin Movement,” at the NAWCC (National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors) Pacific Northwest Regional at Kent Commons last Sunday.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Clocks of all makes and descriptions \u2013 as far back as the Civil War era \u2013\u00a0were on display for sale at the event, which attracted 75 vendors from throughout the Western States and Canada.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Blake’s creation of his pendulum-driven clock commanded considerable time and devotion.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
