The city of Kent will host a Recycling Event for residents on Saturday, June 2 at the Kent Phoenix Academy parking lot, 11000 S.E. 264th St.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Bring appliances, bulky yard debris, concrete, rock and brick-as well as sand from sandbags (no bags, please), up to three file boxes of material to shred and limited electronics. Also bring mattresses free \u2013 one time only. A complete list of items accepted at the event will be in the mail to residents by mid-May.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Kent residents may also purchase a Composter or Rainbarrel at this event, while supplies last. For more information, visit www.KentRecycles.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The event is paid for by grants from King County\u2019s Solid Waste Division, Local Hazardous Waste Management Program and from the Washington State Department of Ecology.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
