{"id":7585,"date":"2012-05-10T11:21:27","date_gmt":"2012-05-10T18:21:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/kent-recycling-event-set-for-june-2\/"},"modified":"2016-10-23T01:35:35","modified_gmt":"2016-10-23T08:35:35","slug":"kent-recycling-event-set-for-june-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-recycling-event-set-for-june-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent Recycling Event set for June 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>The city of Kent will host a Recycling Event for residents on Saturday, June 2 at the Kent Phoenix Academy parking lot, 11000 S.E. 264th St.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Bring appliances, bulky yard debris, concrete, rock and brick-as well as sand from sandbags (no bags, please), up to three file boxes of material to shred and limited electronics. Also bring mattresses free \u2013 one time only. A complete list of items accepted at the event will be in the mail to residents by mid-May.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Kent residents may also purchase a Composter or Rainbarrel at this event, while supplies last.
