Grade: Senior.<\/p>\n
Sport: Football.<\/p>\n
Accomplishment: Blackmore, a wide receiver and linebacker, pulled in a 40-yard touchdown, collected a sack and added two tackles for a loss, helping Kentwood beat Kentlake 30-28 Oct. 8 in a battle of unbeatens.<\/p>\n
Favorite class: Chemistry.<\/p>\n
If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: My little sister Maddie. I\u2019d serve steak, scallop potatoes, green beans, and a bean burrito for her.<\/p>\n
Greatest athletic moment: Being elected captain of the Kentwood football team.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
ALYSSA SIMONSON, Kentlake<\/b><\/p>\n
Grade: Junior.<\/p>\n
Sport: Soccer.<\/p>\n
Accomplishment: Simonson scored a pair of unassisted goals in helping the Falcons grab a 3-2 victory over Thomas Jefferson Oct. 2.<\/p>\n
Favorite class: Careers with Children.<\/p>\n
If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (musician) Justin Bieber. I would serve mom\u2019s enchiladas and Spanish rice. For dessert, I\u2019d make Jell-o pretzel salad.<\/p>\n
Greatest athletic moment: Getting the assist for a goal in our Kentwood game this year, then going on to win the game and beating them for the first time in a few years.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
EMILY MOHR, Kentridge<\/b><\/p>\n
Grade: Junior.<\/p>\n
Sport: Swimming.<\/p>\n
Accomplishment: Mohr delivered a state-qualifying time in a victorious 50 free (25.12 seconds), served up a win in the 100 free (55.57) and was part of Kentridge\u2019s winning 200-free relay team and 400-free relay team in a meet Oct. 7 against Mount Rainier. Favorite class: AP Psychology.<\/p>\n
If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite my family to dinner because we are so spread out across the U.S., and I hardly get to see them. I would serve all sorts of food, so everyone would find something delicious to indulge in.<\/p>\n
Greatest athletic moment: Definitely when I broke the 50 free and 100 free Kentridge records for swim, but also being academic state champs for Chatelaines along with obtaining first in state my freshman year in the kick category and first in show as a sophomore.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
NICK FISHER, Kentridge<\/p>\n
Grade: Sophomore.<\/p>\n
Sport: Golf.<\/p>\n
Accomplishment: Fisher carded a 9-hole total of 34, a score that included three birdies and helped him earn medalist honors in a victory last week over Tahoma. The win helped the Chargers secure the SPSL North title.<\/p>\n
Favorite class: Spanish.<\/p>\n
If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite all my friends and we would have ribs. Greatest athletic moment: When our team won league.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
CHERENE O\u2019HARA, K-M<\/p>\n
Grade: Senior.<\/p>\n
Sport: Volleyball.<\/p>\n
Accomplishment: O\u2019Hara racked up 23 kills, collected 16 digs and dished out four assists, leading the Royals past Auburn Oct. 6 in four games (26-24, 25-20, 17-25, 25-14.<\/p>\n
Favorite class: Cooking. If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Kerri Watkins and serve chicken alfredo.<\/p>\n
