{"id":7374,"date":"2013-08-01T11:38:50","date_gmt":"2013-08-01T18:38:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/baldwin-chiropractic-supports-kenthope\/"},"modified":"2016-10-23T18:25:28","modified_gmt":"2016-10-24T01:25:28","slug":"baldwin-chiropractic-supports-kenthope","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/baldwin-chiropractic-supports-kenthope\/","title":{"rendered":"Baldwin Chiropractic supports KentHOPE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p><strong>For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Baldwin Chiropractic, a Kent business at 10700 SE 208th St., recently donated a check for $1,100 to KentHOPE, a community organization whose goal is to open a day center and shelter for people experiencing homelessness in Kent.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>For the second year, Baldwin Chiropractic has donated $20 for every new patient who comes in during its charity drive.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>&#8220;Last year we donated to the Salvation Army, but we wanted to do something even more local this year,&#8221; said Dr. Courtney Bostjancic, daughter of Dr. Garry Baldwin who started the practice in 1986. &#8220;We like the idea of giving back to our community.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The check was accepted by Chris Gough, of Seattle&#8217;s Union Gospel Mission and the pastor who married Drs.
