The King County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the Oct. 24, 2024 manner of death of a 61-year-old Kent man as homicide.<\/p>\n
Anthony Sperry died of acute pneumonia in the setting of immobility, left femoral neck fracture status post repair and blunt force injuries of left lower extremity, according to the Jan. 6 medical examiner’s office media report. The medical examiner’s initial report on Oct. 25, 2024, listed Sperry’s cause and manner of death as pending.<\/p>\n
“This remains an open death investigation,” said Brandyn Hull, spokesperson for the King County Sheriff’s Office, in a Jan. 7 email.<\/p>\n
Just after 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 24, deputies responded to a call of an unresponsive male at a residence in the 27100 block of 52nd Avenue <\/a>South<\/a>, Hull said. Firefighters were performing CPR, but Sperry died at the scene.<\/p>\n Hull had no other details about the incident.<\/p>\n “I’ll keep you posted if any updates become available to share,” Hull said.<\/p>\n Sperry was the founder and owner of Seattle Shuttle, according to his obituary posted on cadycremationservices.com. The Kent-based company provides transportation services in the Seattle area.
