The Kent-based Seattle Thunderbirds will play the Everett Silvertips in the fourth annual Battle of the Sound at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.<\/p>\n

The T-Birds continue to partner with the Seattle Kraken and Climate Pledge Arena in the spirit of growing hockey in the Puget Sound region and across the state.<\/p>\n

“This will now be the fourth annual Battle of the Sound and the second against the Everett Silvertips,” said T-Birds President, Colin Campbell. “We are continuously grateful for the opportunity provided by the Seattle Kraken and Climate Pledge Arena to host another game against our I-5 rivals. This game provides a great opportunity for fans to gather and watch the future of the NHL.”<\/p>\n

The inaugural “Battle of the Sound,” was Feb. 26, 2022, attracted more than 8,000 fans, and featured the T-Birds and Silvertips.<\/p>\n

Tickets are $40 and $25.<\/p>\n

Entering games on Oct. 24, Everett leads the Western Hockey League Western Conference with a record of 9-2-0-0 for 18 points. Seattle is in ninth place with a record of 5-7-1-0 for 11 points.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
