{"id":70550,"date":"2024-08-30T12:05:00","date_gmt":"2024-08-30T19:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/sports\/kent-sunrise-rotary-club-offers-chance-at-1m-hole-in-one\/"},"modified":"2024-08-30T12:05:00","modified_gmt":"2024-08-30T19:05:00","slug":"kent-sunrise-rotary-club-offers-chance-at-1m-hole-in-one","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/sports\/kent-sunrise-rotary-club-offers-chance-at-1m-hole-in-one\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent Sunrise Rotary Club offers chance at $1M hole-in-one"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Rotary Club of Kent Sunrise and Les Schwab of north Kent is giving four lucky golfers a chance to make a hole-in-one and win $1 million in a 20-year annuity.<\/p>\n<p>All the participants in the fifth annual Golftoberfest tournament at Washington National Golf Club in Auburn will have a chance to qualify, but only four (amateur) golfers will earn the opportunity to tee it up for $1 million.<\/p>\n<p>Other prizes to be won include a new car from Valley GMC in Auburn.<\/p>\n<p>Golftoberfest principally raises funds for local nonprofits, scholarships, Kent School District education and food security, according to a Kent Sunrise email.<\/p>\n<p>The Golftoberfest tournament is a shotgun scramble format starting at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12. <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/ALNQh68uYwgzdHk48\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\">Washington National Golf Club is at 14330 SE Husky <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/ALNQh68uYwgzdHk48\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\">Way<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sign up is open, the field is limited to 96 golfers. Entry and sponsorship opportunities can be found at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.golfgenius.com\/register?league_id=10706649728302481552\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"link\" rel=\"noopener\">golfgenius.com\/ggid\/2024kent\/register<\/a>.
