{"id":70493,"date":"2024-08-26T17:42:00","date_gmt":"2024-08-27T00:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/woman-63-killed-in-kent-vehicle-collision-along-south-277th-way\/"},"modified":"2024-08-26T17:42:00","modified_gmt":"2024-08-27T00:42:00","slug":"woman-63-killed-in-kent-vehicle-collision-along-south-277th-way","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/woman-63-killed-in-kent-vehicle-collision-along-south-277th-way\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman, 63, killed in Kent vehicle collision along South 277th Way"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 63-year-old woman was killed in a collision with another vehicle Saturday, Aug. 24 in Kent <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/VbnyimWoi9JE9SFT7\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\">in the 4850 block of South 272nd Way near Lake Fenwick Road South<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Lori Ann Smith died of multiple blunt force injuries in the crash, according to the King County Medical Examiner&rsquo;s Office.<\/p>\n<p>The street is listed with a Kent address but in unincorporated King County, so the crash was handled by the King County Sheriff&rsquo;s Office. The crash was just west of the West Valley Highway and State Route 167.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies responded at about 4:15 p.m. to the collision between two vehicles, according to a Aug. 26 email from a Sheriff&rsquo;s Office spokesperson. The woman died at the scene.
