A high-speed collision along northbound Interstate 5 in SeaTac at about 1 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 fully blocked the lanes for nearly four hours and led to major traffic delays during the morning commute.<\/p>\n
Troopers arrested a 19-year-old Seattle man for investigation of vehicular assault, according to a Aug. 22 Washington State Patrol press release. He was showing signs of impairment, according to troopers.<\/p>\n
The State Patrol received 911 calls reporting a serious collision on northbound I-5 just south of South 188th Street. Troopers arrived and saw a 2022 Toyota Tacoma in the left ditch and that the driver had been ejected. The 54-year-old Federal Way man sustained facial injuries and paramedics transported him to a local hospital where he was in stable condition, according to the press release.<\/p>\n
A bit north of the Toyota troopers saw a 2021 Kia Sportage that was on its top in lane three with the driver out of the vehicle and walking around.<\/p>\n
