A forecast of rainy weather has caused the postponement of repaving southbound State Route 167 in Kent for the second consecutive weekend.<\/p>\n
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) had hoped to do the work between State Route 516 and South 277th Street on Aug. 23-26 after rain postponed the project Aug. 16-19.<\/p>\n
“Unfortunately, we are having to reschedule the planned work again due to the weather forecast,” said WSDOT spokesperson Craig Smiley in an Aug. 21 email. “We do not have a new date as of yet.”<\/p>\n
The project includes repaving the road and bridge work.<\/p>\n
