When the Kentridge and Kentwood High basketball teams meet Friday at the ShoWare Center, the school which brings the most fans to the game will have an opportunity to win $10,000 for its school.<\/p>\n

One fan from the school which brings the most fans to the Les Schwab Shootout on Friday will be selected to shoot a special half-court shot, which could be worth $10,000 for the school\u2019s DECA club.<\/p>\n

The Shootout is a basketball showcase that features all four boys and all four girls teams from the Kent School District. The event also will include a boys basketball game between Tahoma and Silverdale’s Central Kitsap, which will kick off the day at 2 p.m.<\/p>\n

Doors open at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n

The Tahoma-Central Kitsap game is followed by the K-M girls against Kentlake at 3:30 p.m. Kent-Meridian and Kentlake meet at 5 p.m. in a boys game followed by the KW-KR girls game at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

The biggest game of the day won’t happen until 8:30 p.m., when Josh Smith and Kentwood take on Gary Bell and Kentridge. The $10,000 shot is scheduled for halftime of that particular game.<\/p>\n

Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for students. One ticket is good for all five games. Tickets are available at the ShoWare Center box office, 625 W. James St.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
