Puget Sound Fire firefighters extinguished a house fire Monday afternoon, June 3 in Kent and rescued two dogs and two cats.<\/p>\n
Firefighters responded at about 2:41 p.m. to the 23400 block of 134th Court <\/a>SE<\/a> on the East Hill. No people were home at the time of the fire, said Puget Sound Fire spokesperson Pat Pawlak in an email.<\/p>\n Four engines, a ladder truck, two command vehicles and one medic unit responded. Twenty-three emergency personnel responded. Firefighters put the fire out in about 20 minutes.<\/p>\n Firefighters were able to safely remove two dogs and two cats from the house. They are doing fine, Pawlak said.<\/p>\n The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental, Pawlak said.
