A 22-year-old man was fatally shot April 15 in Auburn.<\/p>\n
Auburn Police have no suspects in custody for the killing, as the department continues to investigate the incident and follow-up on leads, according to an email from Kolby Crossley, a spokesperson for the Auburn Police Department.<\/p>\n
“This wasn’t a random act,” said Crossley.<\/p>\n
According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, Eydoel A. Negash died as a result of a gunshot wound of the head. The medical examiner’s office identified his death as a homicide.<\/p>\n
According to Crossley’s email, Auburn police responded at approximately 5 a.m. April 15 to a shooting at the Promenade Apartments in Auburn, 12902 SE 312th St.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man suffering from “at least one gunshot wound.”<\/p>\n
First responders transported Negash to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after performing lifesaving measures. Negash was pronounced dead at Harborview Medical Center.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
