{"id":69059,"date":"2024-04-15T12:15:00","date_gmt":"2024-04-15T19:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-police-to-offer-teen-academy-for-students-in-june\/"},"modified":"2024-04-15T12:15:00","modified_gmt":"2024-04-15T19:15:00","slug":"kent-police-to-offer-teen-academy-for-students-in-june","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-police-to-offer-teen-academy-for-students-in-june\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent Police to offer teen academy for students in June"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kent Police will host a three-day teen academy June 25-27 for students interested in law enforcement or just want to learn about the job of an officer.<\/p>\n<p>Students will get an in-depth look at many specialty assignments officers can have, how to prepare to work in law enforcement and more.<\/p>\n<p>The academy is open to 2024-2025 school year sophomores, juniors, seniors and 2024 graduates.<\/p>\n<p>The academy will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, June 25-27 at the Kent Police and Fire Training Center, 24523 116th Ave. SE.<\/p>\n<p>Registration and approval is required for attendance.
