The family of fallen Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Gadd released a statement Tuesday, March 5 about Gadd, 27, who was killed in the line of duty after being struck March 2 by a motorist on Interstate 5 near Marysville.<\/p>\n
Gadd graduated from Kentlake High School.<\/p>\n
“We are working through what is undoubtedly the most difficult of times for our family as we mourn the loss of a loving husband, devoted father, caring brother, beloved son, and committed friend,” according to the statement released by the State Patrol. “We appreciate the outpouring of support we have seen from the community that Chris loved and served. We ask the media to respect our family’s privacy during this painful time.”<\/p>\n
Gadd is survived by his wife Cammryn, daughter Kaelyn (2), father David, mother Gillian and sister Jacqueline. His father is a Washington State Patrol trooper in King County. His sister is a state trooper in Texas.<\/p>\n
