Participants are wanted to play in the second annual ShoWare Shootout 3-on-3 basketball tournament July 28-29 at the ShoWare Center in Kent.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The tournament is open to all ages of men, women and children. Courts are set up in the parking lot at the ShoWare Center.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The entry fee is $75 per team. The fee includes a guarantee of four games, a T-\u00adShirt and extra T-\u00adshirt if your team wins the championship game of the division.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Entry deadline is July 20. Schedules will be emailed two to three days before the first round of games and tournament brackets will be on site.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Each division will play on its own court with a main court hosting the top divisions. The main court will be set up in the middle of the ShoWare parking lot. The tournament also offers a wheelchair division.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
A ball hockey rink will be set up as part of the event. Teams will play in a tournament format July 28-\u00ad29 as part of the ShoWare Shootout. The same entry rules apply to those wanting to play ball hockey, a sport in which players use a stick to knock a ball into a net.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
A total of 150-\u00ad200 teams are expected to take part in the event.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
A portion of the proceeds will go to Kent Youth and Family Services.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
