{"id":66971,"date":"2023-12-26T12:50:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-26T20:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/shot-fired-as-fife-police-arrest-murder-suspect-at-a-kent-motel\/"},"modified":"2023-12-26T12:50:00","modified_gmt":"2023-12-26T20:50:00","slug":"shot-fired-as-fife-police-arrest-murder-suspect-at-a-kent-motel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/shot-fired-as-fife-police-arrest-murder-suspect-at-a-kent-motel\/","title":{"rendered":"Shot fired as Fife Police arrest murder suspect at a Kent motel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fife Police arrested a man Thursday, Dec. 21 at a Kent motel wanted for murder.<\/p>\n<p>A shot was fired by a member of the Pierce County Metro Cities SWAT team prior to the man being taken into custody, but nobody was hit by the gunfire, according to a Dec. 26 email from Fire Police Assistant Chief Aaron Gardner.<\/p>\n<p>Fife Police detectives tracked the man to a Kent motel<a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/JvK978SiSrZjY8GX6\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\"> in the 22300 block of 84th Avenue South<\/a>. Police had been searching for Andrew Fonoti for several weeks after investigating the homicide of Rudolph King III.
