Rainier Youth Choirs will present “Sing for Peace,” a celebration of the holiday season, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 19800 108th Ave. SE, in Kent.<\/p>\n

Four age-level choirs will sing new and familiar festive songs to ring in the holiday season during the free concert.<\/p>\n

Selections include a traditional Spanish carol, “A La Nanita Nana,” “The Dinner Bell Carol,” a popular South African tune “Tshotsholoza,” and “Stand in the Light.” Sing-alongs include “Jingle Bells” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”<\/p>\n

The concert concludes with all voices on stage performing “Sing for Peace” by Papoulis and Nunez. This uplifting and inspiring concert is sure to brighten a winter day and showcase outstanding young musicians.<\/p>\n

Attending the concert is free, however, donations are accepted at the door or can be made by visiting the website: rainieryouthchoirs.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rainier Youth Choirs is a Kent-based community youth choir serving singers in second through 12th grade. Rehearsals are held throughout the school year.
