The applications will be provided to the city council for appointment at its meeting that evening at 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>At their July 31 meeting, council members voted to send a proposed levy lid lift to the voters this November under Ordinance 4042.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Two, three-member committees will be appointed to prepare statements no longer than 200 words. The \u201cStatement For\u201d and the \u201cStatement Against\u201d will appear in the King County Voters\u2019 Pamphlet for the Nov. 6 General Election.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Arguments must be submitted to King County Elections no later than 4:30 p.m. Aug. 15.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The successful appointees will be notified by the city, and their information will be submitted to King County Elections on Aug. 10.
