{"id":64467,"date":"2023-09-18T12:05:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-18T19:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/lakewood-man-dies-in-kent-crash-along-state-route-516\/"},"modified":"2023-09-18T17:17:30","modified_gmt":"2023-09-19T00:17:30","slug":"lakewood-man-dies-in-kent-crash-along-state-route-516","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/lakewood-man-dies-in-kent-crash-along-state-route-516\/","title":{"rendered":"Lakewood man dies in Kent crash along State Route 516 | Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 20-year-old Lakewood man was killed after his vehicle reportedly went out of a control at a high rate of speed <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/m7ygxvcu5d6CFXeH8\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\">eastbound along State Route 516 (aka Kent Des Moines Road)<\/a> in Kent.<\/p>\n<p>Raymond Marroquin Perez died of multiple blunt force injuries, according to the King County Medical Examiner&rsquo;s Office.<\/p>\n<p>At about 9:05 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, Perez&rsquo;s vehicle went to pass another vehicle near West Meeker Street when it went out of control and slid sideways into a ditch, according to the Washington State Patrol. The vehicle flipped, struck a metal pole and ended up coming to rest on its top.<\/p>\n<p>Perez, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was ejected and died at the scene, according to the State Patrol.<\/p>\n<p>The State Patrol listed the cause of the crash as speed.
