The shelter needs help from the community to find these dogs their &ldquo;furever&rdquo; homes.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We have some truly wonderful dogs right now that have been at the shelter a long time,&rdquo; said Alex Ropes, animal shelter administrator in a Sept. 7 news release. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re hopeful that their future family will walk in the door any day now.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The adoption fee includes a King County pet license (if applicable), shelter veterinary exam including vaccinations, spay\/neuter surgery, microchipping, 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion and more.<\/p>\n<p>Provide a loving home for a pet at <a href=\"https:\/\/kingcounty.gov\/en\/legacy\/depts\/regional-animal-services\/adopt-a-pet.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"link\" rel=\"noopener\">kingcounty.gov\/AdoptAPet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The King County Pet Adoption Center is at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent.
