On an average day, the agency responds to about 117 calls.<\/p>\n<p>The emergencies included residential fires, brush fires, emergency medical calls, motor vehicle accidents, a horse-riding accident and a shooting (in Kent) with two patients that sustained critical injuries. The incident type breakdown was 115 fire dispatches, 86 emergency medical calls and six service calls.<\/p>\n<p>Puget Sound Fire serves the residents of Covington, Kent, Maple Valley, SeaTac, Tukwila and the unincorporated areas of King County Fire District No. 37 and King County Fire District No. 43.
