A pregnant woman wearing a scrub top and brown jail pants allegedly walked away from the Valley Medical Center in Renton after Kent Police officers had transported her from the city jail to the hospital to be treated for spotting from her pregnancy.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Officers cited the woman at large for investigation of third-degree escape after the July 20 incident, according to the police report. She was in jail\u00a0 on a third-degree theft charge.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The woman reportedly yelled “Michael” as she walked away from the hospital and got into a white Cadillac Escalade to leave the area. She had warrants for third-degree theft out of Burien and Renton.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Jail staff called police to transport the woman to the hospital after a jail nurse recommended she needed treatment from spotting from her pregnancy. Officers transported the woman to the hospital at about 3:55 p.m. July 20. She fled the medical center at about 6:24 p.m., according to hospital staff.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

False statement<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Police arrested a woman for investigation of making a false statement to an officer after she reportedly gave a false name after being pulled over at about 11:09 a.m. July 23 driving near the northbound onramp for Highway 167 and South 212th Street.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

A patrol officer saw a green Toyota Corolla going eastbound on Southeast 208th Street with no front license plate and tinted side windows that appeared to be less than the state required 24 percent light transmission, according to the police report.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Police stopped the car, which had a woman driver and a woman passenger. The officer cited the driver for having no valid operator license and later found out she had given a false name, which resulted in another citation.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The passenger said she owned the car. Police cited her for the car missing a front plate and unlawful window tint. The officer used a tint meter to discover the car had just 6 percent light transmission.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Reckless driving<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Officers arrested a man for investigation of reckless driving after he allegedly competed in illegal street racing at about 12:42 a.m. July 20 in the 21800 block of 76th Avenue South.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

An officer responded to a 911 call about street racing and saw a vehicle traveling about 50 mph in a 35 mph zone passing other southbound cars, according to the police report.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The car initially traveled south in the northbound lane and then moved over right behind another vehicle before the officer pulled over the one car. The driver asked the officer why he stopped him since other cars were racing along the road as well. The officer told the driver he was traveling the fastest and the most dangerously.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Assault<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Police cited a man for investigation of fourth-degree assault after he reportedly punched his sister-in-law and threw her against the wall during an incident at an apartment in the 25600 block of 98th Avenue South.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The woman told officers the incident occurred July 2 but she waited until July 20 to report it because she was afraid to come forward, according to the police report.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The woman rents a room from her brother-in-law and sister and got up the night of July 2 when she heard her brother-in-law confronting her 14-year-old nephew about coming home late. When she asked what was going on, the brother-in-law told her it was none of her business. He then reportedly punched her in the face, shoved her against a door and punched her in the shoulder.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Officers were unable to locate the brother-in-law and cited him at large.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Prostitution<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Officers arrested a woman for investigation of violating a stay out of areas of prostitution order after she was spotted walking at about 1:20 a.m. July 21 in the middle of Pacific Highway South near South 240th Street.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The woman told officers she was looking for somebody as she initially refused to leave the middle of the street, according to the police report.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

When police got the woman to the sidewalk to talk, they found out her name and discovered she had stay out of areas of prostitution orders against her in Kent from the Kent-Des Moines Road to South 272nd Street along Pacific Highway.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

When an officer searched the woman for any weapons or drugs, she yelled for police not to shoot her. She continued to yell the same thing as officers transported her to the city jail.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
