A 21-year-old Kent man died on May 12 as a result of a single vehicle crash along westbound State Route 18 in the Auburn\/Black Diamond area.<\/p>\n

Pau Nung died from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office media report. Nung was a passenger in the vehicle.<\/p>\n

The collision resulted in injuries to the driver and two other adult passengers in the vehicle, according to the Washington State Patrol.<\/p>\n

An 18-year-old passenger and a 20-year-old passenger were transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center as a result of injuries suffered in the collision. First responders transported the driver, an 18-year-old Auburn man, to St. Anne Hospital in Burien.<\/p>\n

The driver was arrested for investigation of vehicular homicide and reckless driving, according to the State Patrol.<\/p>\n

The collision resulted because of speeding, according to the State Patrol. Nung was not wearing his seatbelt.<\/p>\n

According to the state patrol, the vehicle was traveling westbound at about 11:50 p.m. May 12 on State Route 18 at a high rate of speed and attempted to exit to Auburn\/Black Diamond, traveling too fast to navigate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled multiple times, ejecting the rear passenger and coming to rest near the on-ramp.<\/p>\n
