No other units in the building were affected by the fire.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><p>The first reports to 911 at 7 a.m. were of black smoke coming from the window of a second-story apartment. When firefighters arrived and entered the unit they found black smoke extending down to the floor and high heat.
