The officer made contract with the two and discovered a third person with life-threatening injuries on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>The officer requested medical aid and began life-saving efforts until medics arrived, according to police. But the man died at the scene from his injuries. Police did not release an age for the man.<\/p>\n<p>A witness told officers they heard a pedestrian being struck be a vehicle, but the driver fled the scene without stopping, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>Police are working to identify the suspect vehicle and driver.
