Interactive booths, sports competitions, contests and prizes, along with an impressive lineup of performances by Kent\u2019s talented kids are just part of the fun at \u201cYou Me We\u201d, coming up this Friday, February 18, 2011, 6:00-9:30 p.m. at ShoWare Center, 625 W. James Street.<\/p>\n

The free event is a celebration of Kent\u2019s being named, for the first time ever, one of the 100 Best Communitiesfor Young People in America, by America\u2019s Promise Alliance, the nation\u2019s largest partnership organization dedicated to youth and children.<\/p>\n

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with stage entertainment by Master of Ceremonies Greg Bennick, nationally renowned juggler, comedian, speaker, and family fun guy starting at 6:20 p.m.<\/p>\n

The event is organized by a collaboration of community groups, including the Kent School District, Kent Parks Department, youth groups, sports and scouting organizations, churches, local businesses, and service clubs.<\/p>\n
