Registration is open for the 11th annual Kent Cornucopia Days Fun Run and Walk, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 12.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Kent Parks\u2019 program coordinator Mark Hendrickson said the race is a summer tradition for many residents throughout the Puget Sound.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u201cThe course is U.S. Track and Field certified and is one of the few flat courses in the area,” he said. “We\u2019ll have awards for the top five finishers in each age group, with prizes and gift certificates from many local businesses.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Hosted by the Kent Parks Recreation and Community Services, the race entrance fee is $10 or $25 (with a technical T-shirt) before July 10.\u00a0 Participants age 60 and older run for free courtesy of the Tab Wizard.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
