{"id":6045,"date":"2010-12-17T15:54:53","date_gmt":"2010-12-17T23:54:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/state-patrol-looking-for-victim-of-interstate-405-shooting-near-highway-167\/"},"modified":"2016-10-23T19:50:35","modified_gmt":"2016-10-24T02:50:35","slug":"state-patrol-looking-for-victim-of-interstate-405-shooting-near-highway-167","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/state-patrol-looking-for-victim-of-interstate-405-shooting-near-highway-167\/","title":{"rendered":"State Patrol looking for victim of Interstate 405 shooting near Highway 167"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Washington State Patrol is looking for help to find the victim or victims of a drive-by shooting that occurred at about 3 a.m. Dec. 11 on northbound Interstate 405 near State Route 167.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers arrested a 25-year-old Maple Valley man Dec. 16 for investigation of drive-by shooting and attempt to elude an officer in connection with shots that were fired at another car, according to a Dec. 17 State Patrol media release.<\/p>\n<p>A trooper on Dec. 11 observed two vehicles, a blue Dodge Neon and a mid to late 1980s sedan, driving in an aggressive manner on northbound I-405.<\/p>\n<p>The Maple Valley man, the driver of the Neon, reportedly shot several times at the unidentified sedan. The trooper pursued the Neon and reportedly saw the driver throw a gun out of the window. Troopers later recovered the gun.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers continued to pursue the Neon, whose driver lost control on a Kent side street. The driver fled on foot and troopers were unable to find him.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives contacted the Maple Valley man by phone and he turned himself in Dec. 16.
