Delia (Dee) Mae Miller was born October 10th, 1948, in Monroe, Louisiana. At the age of 73, she completed her journey to Glory on Friday, July 15th, 2022, after enduring an unexpected stroke.<\/p>\n
Delia Mae knew no strangers and served as a pillar of strength for her family and the community. All who were fortunate to experience her love will remember her as a comforter, organizer, advocate, chef, baker, fashionista, caregiver, artist, gardener, teacher, travel extraordinaire, professional telecommunication artist, QVC investor, bible scholar, and most of all a prayer warrior.<\/p>\n
Delia Mae was also a dedicated and avid contributor to local and international organizations, such as the Red Cross, community centers, schools, churches, performance art centers, dance troupes, kitchens, and sports teams.<\/p>\n
Dee was preceded in death by her parents Leola and Lawrence Ard Sr.; her siblings Bernice Ard, Alma Ard, Clarice Moore, Lawrence Ard Jr., and Helen Stewart; her daughters Delaine Morris and Shawna Miller.<\/p>\n
Dee will be lovingly remembered by her husband Johnny Miller, son John “Pete” Miller (Luckisha), grandchildren Kayla Miller, Taylore Dominique (Julius), Kyrie Miller, Esaias Miller, Jayden Phillips, and Jeremiah Miller, and great-grandchild O’vannie Dominique; Siblings Willie V (Jimmy), Erma, Eberdine, Patricia (Don), and Sue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
