About 30 firefighters from 10 fire department units extinguished a July 6 two-alarm Kent warehouse fire in approximately one hour.<\/p>\n
Firefighters responded at about 8:32 p.m. to Uresco Construction Materials Inc., 8246 S. 194th <\/a>St.<\/a>, according to Puget Sound Fire spokesperson Pat Pawlak. The warehouse is used to store building materials.<\/p>\n “The fire protection sprinkler system activated and controlled the fire until firefighters were able to extinguish it,” Pawlak said. “The sprinkler system limited the amount of damage the fire would have caused.”<\/p>\n Nobody was injured, Pawlak said.
