In 2010, 457 people were killed on our roadways whereas in 2000, 631 were killed.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>But pedestrian fatalities have remained steady with 61 pedestrians killed each year for the last three years.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\u201cWhen you\u2019re around traffic and being aware of the dangers is half the battle,\u201d said Capt.
