Evelyn DeVere Monsonwas born in Cle Elum, WA on April 12, 1930. She was the 12th child and last child of Janet and Joseph DeVere. Evelyn died on September 19, 2021, at the age of 91 at Merrill Gardens Retirement Community in Burien, WA.<\/p>\n

After graduating from Cle Elum High School in 1948, she relocated to Seattle, WA where she raised her family with then husband Wasco “Babe” Markovich and retired from a successful career as an executive secretary. Evelyn was a long-time resident of Kent, WA where she lived after retirement.<\/p>\n

A memorial is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, at her home church of Unity of Kent, at 12:00 PM located at 218 State Ave. S., Kent, WA.<\/p>\n

She is survived by her sister, Anna Mae DeLaurenti, her daughters Patty Becker and Diane Markovich, son David Markovich, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.<\/p>\n
