Eight candidates for the Kent City Council are scheduled to participate in debates Wednesday, Oct. 5 presented by the Kent Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The debates are part of the chamber’s monthly membership luncheon that runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the ShoWare Center, 625 W. James St. Tickets are $30 for nonmembers and $20 for chamber members.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Kent’s council races include incumbent Deborah Ranniger against Bailey Stober for Position No. 1; incumbent Les Thomas against Nancy Skorupa for Position No. 3; Bill Boyce against incumbent Debbie Raplee for Position No. 5; and Dana Ralph against Michael S. Sealfon for Position No. 7.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The general election is Nov. 8. King County Elections will mail out ballots Oct. 19.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
